Believe this is a cabbage looper caterpillar near the stem of a green tomato. The inchworm type (also known as a measuring worm) caterpillar has a pale green body with white stripes.
This caterpillar can be pretty destructive to vegetable plant leaves and turns into a brown moth as an adult.
